On The Fly Frac Water Treatment
CAT-6 unit
- • Without proper biocide treatment, bacteria in frac water can become established downhole and near the wellbore during the frac job. These bacteria then can contaminate separators, water tanks, flowlines and disposal facilities downstream.
- • Bacterial contamination can produce biogenic (H 2 S souring), form iron sulfide (black water), cause plugging and result in corrosion failures of downhole equipment, surface separation and storage tanks and flowlines.
- • Preventing contamination requires a good biocide program to prevent system souring, solids formation and bacteria related corrosion failures.
- • FC has a full line of completion chemicals - Registered biocides, Scale Inhibitors, Corrosion inhibitors, Clay stabilizers surfactants, Friction reducers, etc.
